Those are great matchups, and the ones I was hoping to see.
Interesting lines. That Bama line seems a bit too high and I expect it will fall as we move forward.

I think they just view Alabama as the best team even though they have a loss and are at #2, hence the lines being what they are. I think there would have been a lot of folks PO'd if Bama jumped Clempsun though.

Not necessarily. I'd put money on Clemson and MSU with the current spreads. MSU getting 9 points is a steal, imo.
Exactly right but they kicked Bama's butt last time they played so this protects the golden child as they face yet another team without an offense.

I'll tell ya one thing, MSU vs Bama is gonna be a sludge fest like the BIGCC yesterday. Bama just doesn't have the offense to beat a team with any semblance of an offense by 9+

I'd be mad if I were an OU fan. I'm sure they wanted to play in the Dallas. Now they have to travel to Miami.

Fanbases at bigtime schools have no issues traveling regardless. You better believe they'll pony up to go to a playoff game in Florida.

I think some forget that the Orange Bowl tie-in used to be with the Big 8. OU and Neb fans traveled to Miami in droves.

So stupid for this to be on New Years Eve ... they are going to lose a lot of viewers. I don't get it.

I think you'e right. I also think they didn't want OU playing in Dallas where they'd have a big advantage over their higher seeded opponent.
Yeah but big difference for an OU fan. Easy travel to Dallas plus OU has a big alumni base in Dallas as well. You also have to remember that there are potentially two big games and not all of their fans are going to be able to travel to both Miami and Phoenix.
