I really don't want to play a down PSU team. There's nothing to gain & more to lose. PSU has a ton of talent, but Franklin is a poor HC. Still not sold we would beat them.

There’s a lot to gain. Them and Pitt murder us recruiting. We need an edge with these DMV recruits and to get even a small foothold in the midwest. Not to mention, Western New Yorks nittany lion territory. That needs to be orange.

Get 50 northeast recruits to that game and pray we win.

We're a top 25 team for sure, who benefited from the teams in front of them losing. That's how this all works! Let's keep winning!

The schedule finally went our way. After years of complaining and bemoaning our ridiculously tough schedule, we finally get a reprieve, and I couldn't be happier. This is EXACTLY what we wanted.

Our O is better than ever. Running game is finally producing, OL has played great and we are able to distribute to multiple receivers. Lastly, we are in every game, only losing by a combined 7 points. Lewis' departure has not been missed.

Respectfully disagree about Lewis and thee offense. Hasn't been the same and I think that may have been part if ED's funk; he leaned on him. again, not a huge statistical difference, but rather a subjective difference. Love this team and looking forward to Yankee stadium, go CUSE!

I hate PSU & would love to take even 1 recruit from them. But, don’t kid yourself. Beating them in a meaningless bowl game won’t change the fact that PSU will ALWAYS out recruit us. Syracuse is considered a basketball school & it’ll take a decade of real bowl games to put us in position to take away PSU recruits. Just the facts.

They are not garbage. Three SEC wins is not garbage. No ACC team has 3 SEC wins. Kentucky has only one cupcake on their schedule. They have the 10th toughest SOS (Clemson is 16th). They deserve to be in the top 20.

The point is they play a tough schedule and beat some good teams and certainly belong in the top 20 which was the op. They are hardly garbage.
