Michigan, but you never know
Saw an interesting article today about Girard in the local weekly paper here in Glens Falls and the writer finished the article by remembering when he had interviewed Joe G in 2011 after he had won the national Elks free throw shooting contest. The writer had asked little Girard what he wanted to be doing in college, and Joe responded with, "I want to be playing Division One basketball at the University of Michigan." Obviously, a lot can happen in 6 or 7 years, but ...

It probably has to do with his dad’s connection to Beilein.

GMAC doing a great job here, he is working all angles, do not read into this about which way Girard is going, but GMAC is pushing hard and the family likes the idea of him playing close to home

I figure we have six months to convince JGIII that 160 miles is greater than 655 miles.

Bingo...this might be huge for us considering this kid is a hop skip and jump away from cuse for his family and the all time leading scorer for NY etc...comparisons to gmac and all that stuff hopefully he wants to be the man in his home state for a school he probably grew up liking and being a fan of. Not to say this is everything but he's got to like the idea or possibility of lighting it up in his back yard to a huge fan base!

That's a hop, skip and a jump away for a few other people as well ( not saying who...wink wink).

Is it possible to have one thread where someone isn’t taking a shot at a current or former SU player?
