Class of 2020 CG Quentin Hodge (SC)

I've got an interesting 6'5 combo guard, Quentin Hodge, from South Carolina for you to check out. Played for Lakewood HS and GA Stars in the EYBL. Not going to find him in the National ranks. His offers won't blow you away could be that hidden gem. Ranked 7th in South Carolina according to HoopSeen, 4th by Phenom Hoop Reports, and 2 star on Verbal Commits. 3rd Team All State. McDonald's All American nominee. Top unsigned Senior in SC. He averaged 29.8 points (44% from 3), 6.7 rebounds, and 3.5 assists this year. No Cuse offer to date, but Red is on this one. Has some Josh Pace to his game with some crafty drives/scoring/floaters. Good defender and rebounder. Would be a good depth addition (4th guard or redshirt option) and could end being a glue guy down the road. And no, he is not the son of Julius Hodge.

No issues. 4.7 GPA.

His handle and shot looks better in this video. He seems to dribble fine with his left hand, but around the rim everything is right-handed. Battle was wrong-footed driving to his left with no left hand too.

Looks like a solid B in South Carolina school system. 5.0 is the highest.

Is this the mystery HS guard recruit? His video is intriguing, not sure the level of competition. Still have a hard time believing another guard would want to come here and play behind JG3, BB, Griffin (if he gets waiver to play this year) and Richmond, all who have at least the years of eligibility. Maybe this kid would want a chance to play at a P5 considering all his offers are mid/low majors. He has a nice build and a well rounded game, looks like the type of kid who puts up big numbers at a smaller school then looks to transfer up.
