I don't think Gerry is stupid, therefore I highly doubt he would be starting a 5'11" true freshman who was putting up 12 points against kids who struggled in their first year of college ball because he "reminds them of himself".

Based on the 5 players they have to date, that prediction is easy to assume. There will be at a minimum 4-5 new players to be identified. Some will be guards and some will forwards and or centers. The starters will be decided after everyone is known or even later.

prob touched on somewhere in this thread but don't have time to look - do we think it's possible gmac sees Moesch as himself as a freshman, and believes he can come in and run the point from day 1, splitting time with a lower-tier PG like Dual (a la gmac splitting time with Edelin)?

6th man - Kiyan …. He can play the 2 or 3. So can Doty. Some games he may see 30 minutes other games 20. I think that’s a reasonable role for him and Melo can’t expect 33mpg on a P5 team for Kiyan right now

Is it me or does this kids outside shot look more like what you see in grade school age hoopers? He’s definitely quick but that shot just looks weird and then some of the finishes are fun for that level and a pickup game but would get sent packing in college..

There is no way he is hitching his wagon to that. If Gerry isn't smart enough to always recruit better than what he has in hand, then he isn't long for this job.
