You would have to think a mid/low-major would be thrilled to get a former top 50 recruit from Auburn/Syracuse. It hasn't worked out with injuries and other, but getting that level talent into a Lehigh or Kent State or Fairfield or whoever would be big for those schools. If he works out, all the better for them. If he doesn't, I can't imagine they have the funds to be giving him much NIL to start with.
Now if off the court issues are a thing, then who knows, but purely on an injury and lack of production standpoint, he'll get an opporunity (if he wants it).
