They Eagles took an OT, and not Ansah at #4, right? Kelly also passed over one of his former LBs, Kiko Alonso, in favor of a former PAC-10 rival in Round 2.

Maybe he's just doing what he deems as being best for his new team...

Very few. 4 pks taken in 2012 3 made rosters and the 1 the Bills drafted didnt. 1 pk was taken in 2011 Alex Henery. 0 Pks were taken in 2010. 2 were taken in 2009.

That kicker that was drafted by the Bills will be an excellent NFL kicker. Had a conversation with his father at a FSU/NC State game in October. The kid has range out to 60 yards and holds a lot of d-1 records for place kicking. When I saw the pic, I was happy the Bills got him and i"m not even a Bills fan.

You need to get off this nearest geographic NFL franchise stuff. It's completely irrelevant. You act like schools should be farm systems for the nearest pro team or something, and that's not how it works. The Steelers didnt take any Pitt Panthers and they're in the same city! Not to mention, they didnt even pick any Penn State players! Nobody who played college in Pennsylvania was drafted by the Steelers! The Dolphins didnt pick any Hurricanes! The Texans picked nobody who played college ball in the state of Texas! What's worse, they picked two UConn players! What a slap in the face to the Texas Longhorns, Texas A&M Aggies, Rice Owls, Houston Cougars, Baylor Bears, and Texas Tech Red Raiders!
