Agree. If I recall, he also considered Stanford. He is a kid who has prioritized education. He'll have a degree from Berkley in an age when so many players major in "going to college"He’s still playing for an ACC team and close to home. Not to mention I’m sure still making a decent amount of money. Thus he landed pretty well despite all the struggles.
Chris was a kid who seemed to really get down on himself. Unlike some other past players with actual bad attitudes, his frustration always seemed directed at himself. Hope he turns that around (except when SU plays Cal, of course).
Usually, when a guy leaves after a year or so, I don't think twice about them. A couple I have actively rooted against, for my own reasons. But Chris gave us 3 years and I wish nothing but good things for him. SU vs Cal matchups excepted.
