And that was with a superior athlete in Judah chasing him all around!Joe had that kind of killer instinct blood in him but Chris doesn’t seem that type of kid…
We won’t be using the “leave the guy open, he’s bound to miss soon” zone of JB’s last few yearsBell was frustrating -- plus athlete, who never used his physical tools to maximum effect.
Very one dimensional -- could at times be a strong shooter, but rarely did anything else. Didn't rebound nor defend a lick, which was a bigger black mark, given that he was a solid athlete. And his ballhandling sucked.
And he didn't hit consistently enough from outside to offset the other stuff. He was like a poor man's James Southerland. Wasn't sad to see him go, don't wish him any ill will.
But I will dread playing Cal. Could totally envision him going off for 6 threes or something.
I'm off to go watch Southerland drop 30+ on Arkansas without dribbling. He was like a poor man's James Southerland.
Just curious. Based on?……,,,he was the worst teammate i have seen in a cuse bball uniform since Deshaun Williams.

Met Chris a few times and some of his teammates. I can tell you they wouldn’t agree with the characterization as a “worst teammate” and I can say definitively he never punched a mascot. Not the most emotionally mature, but his perceived anger was almost always directed at himselfI sat courtside against ND last year when he went on a ridiculous minute long temper tantrum when he didnt get the ball. My kids can recite what he said word for word which was full of expletives. 1 example.
He would have to guard someone to give up points guarding someone.Wonder if he's still giving up double digit points on whomever he's guarding.
this specific case was absolutely directed DIRECTLY at kyle cuffe and everyone in the dome knew it and heard it. It was the strangest thing i have ever seen at the dome.Met Chris a few times and some of his teammates. Ofc Westry and bell are hooping now. Hoping this was just a one game thing, will be sick if bell goes off all season and kingz ends up being a bust from 37-9 from 3 tonight, scoring 27. No boards though, so that tracks

How many points did he give up with his matador D?And Cal lost giving up 99 in regulation…
Something fishy with Chance. Played just a few minutes. Showed nothing. A few months later tearing it up?Ofc Westry and bell are hooping now. Hoping this was just a one game thing, will be sick if bell goes off all season and kingz ends up being a bust from 3

I think our coaches were desperate. They couldn’t get better talent because of lack of NIL. And Bell was a proven 3-point shooter. I think they hoped he could improve in other areas, would shoot lights out, and also mature and grow. None of those things really happened, unfortunately.I don't miss him. Not one bit. That coaches thought a team could be built around him is one of the most mystifying things I've ever witnessed.
He has a game like this once in a while. Then he gets more attention from the opposing defense and he collapses.7-9 from 3 tonight, scoring 27. No boards though, so that tracks
Maybe it is due to being healthy and not plagued by injury as he wasSomething fishy with Chance. Played just a few minutes. Showed nothing. A few months later tearing it up?
Yeah, I won't rehash last season because the vibes are good now. Everything about their talent evaluation last year was a failure, Bell included. Hopefully we're on a far better path now.I think our coaches were desperate. They couldn’t get better talent because of lack of NIL. And Bell was a proven 3-point shooter.
