Chris Bleich Returning in 2023

Agree. Very good news.

As of right now, this is how I see the OL going into 2023.

LT Cruz
LG Ellis
C Ilaoa
RG Bleich
RT Vetterello

That group should be somewhere in the middle of the ACC in terms of OLs. Would love to get a prototype experienced OT and a prototype experienced C to add to the mix.

One of those five is said to be thinking about not returning.

We need good center play - no false starts. For Pete's sake how does the freakin center fase start?!

With guys returning who could have left that must mean they are thinking 2023 is going to be special right?

I think we can. Potentially is definitely there, schedule is doable and the year after looks tougher. Next year is the year to really proclaim we’re turning a corner

I think the incoming transfer might end up winning the center spot

Agreed. Tom posted that before we knew we had some new guys into the fold and we knew that Vet was leaving. Guessing the starters will look like this. Maybe Joe Cruz has a shot at RT?

LT Cruz
LG Ellis
C J'onre Reed
RG Bleich
RT Joe More

...with the backups being Ialaoa, Bradford, Cruz, and Petry [all played last year] in reserve. Nice to have nearly a full two deep of experienced players.

This is how I see things now, after all the recent developments.

Let's hope the transfers come ready to play.

Need to build a ready-to-go 2nd line since we know injuries will occur

Sure helps when you have 8 guys in the two-deep who've all started games.

If Reed / More are solid, OL could be much improved next year. All due respect to Veterello [and Servais, who preceded him], but it will be nice to see an upgrade in our ability to hold up at the point of attack.

The person i sat next to on my flight said he was going to be a full go in the fall.
Can you share who this mystery person was?

Yeah sounds like 2 of the 5 OL are solidified

I’m hearing it’s an all out battle for the the other 3 spots.

Should be interesting to see how it all plays out.

Wont be surprised to see a lot of guys in and out for the Colgate game

That's what she said. ( Sorry)

Actually, I think 3 spots are solidified with Cruz, Ellis and Bleich.

I'm curious to see who gets a starting nod between Wohlabaugh and More. Should be a good battle.
