I'm curious to hear if a fellow Dolphins fan is ready to see Philbin get the ax? I am stunned, after how the first team performed on both sides this preseason [and yes, I understand that it was just preseason].

I like Bill Lazor [OC] a lot. Would hate to see him go. But I think I've seen enough of Philbin at this point. 10-6 or bust. We're off to a bad start.

Dolphins roster is a playoff roster. Your biggest weakness is HC. Miami has quit on him in September instead of December this year.
I thought the Dolphins were a top 4 team in the AFC behind NE, Denver, Buffalo but that D has been awful the last 2 weeks. Playoff teams don't lose in Jacksonville.
If the Fins lose to NYJ this weekend Philbin could be fired.

Florida State and Clemson really need to win some games. Coastal division is pure garbage now that Miami lost and Georgia/Virginia Tech have each lost 2 games.

What's going on with Lamar Miller? He looked great in the preseason. Are they just getting buried early in games? I don't think they have run many plays in general in the 1H of games so far.

Cincinnati is 0-2 in the AAC, losing to Temple and Memphis, and barely beat the other Miami team, 37-33. Indeed, not a good night for the ACC.

The thing I am most disappointed in though is that the Bearcats get to play Miami more than we do and they aren't in the same conference. Not good.

I just don't see the talent on these Miami teams, despite the rankings. Jimbo Fisher has really hurt Miami's recruiting. Miami looks like a smallish team to me, and lacks the elite speed that those teams used to have. LSU would have beaten Miami by 3 or 4 TD's.

The Bearcats have a good team. And Tuberville is a good coach. For that matter, so is Memphis and Justin Fuentes. Also, a good argument for not blindly believing the star ratings.
