his workload must be reduced in some manner. He doesn't have the body for marathon output. Pitchers from the system or by trading our young guys will be obtained to fill up the roster in that area. I never like trading the young kids who wind up delivering big numbers in another organization. There are plenty of Yankee prospects who deserve the chance to play in the majors. Romine has the ability to be an all-star when he plays everyday. His defense is solid already. His bat will get better once he sees ML pitching more often. Montero proved he can hit this level. Yes his defense must improve but he isn't an automatic error back there. Right field could stand bolstering in defense and offense. Nick is anything but consistent. Maybe Nunez has the bat to develop at that spot over time. He has excellent speed to chase down gap drives. I haven't seen his arm from out there but that can be developed as well. If the kid wants to stay with the Yankees ,he might jump at that opportunity.
