If forced to put money on this game I would take SU. Clemson has not looked good in either game I same them play, Troy and GT.

Have a chance to win in the 4th, that’s all we can ask for. We blitzed a lot early vs Colgate, until the game got out of hand. We have a puncher’s chance.

Clemson D line is still going to give us fits. If we can scheme around that we might be able to move the ball. GT pummels its QB to move the ball game after game, no way we try to do that ,but so does Clemson.

Clemson had 2 passes for 100 yds and the other 24 gained 100 yds. Can we limit big plays or will Clemson just slog it down the field with the oline play like BC/Pitt always seem to do,

I would take SU to cover, not to win. Unfortunately I don't think our defense can stop anybody and I think Cade is much better than he has shown this year. Clemson 34-21

I know this is loser talk, but I will be content if this is a genuinely competitive game mid-to-late third quarter. I will be very disappointed with Fran and the entire team if Clemson jumps on us early and never looks back.

We have issues.

Clemson has played LSU who has shown no offemse. The have played Troy the 2nd worst offense in the sun belt and they played GT .

We played Tenn top 10 and Uconn top 15 and I suspect had we played Colgate with our top 2 lines of D they probably would have had under 200 yds. But we mixed that up early. At 31-3 that had 70 yds.

Sure, our stats would look better but we still have issues.

On the flip side we held Uconn to 3 pts the 2nd half and Tenn the 2nd half to like 125 with the gift TD score and one real drive.

We are mixing kids in but we dont have that disruptor on the dline.

Still we are not getting gashed, tackling is getting better and we started to mix in more attack vs Colgate.

Lets just see steady improvement and hope for a few Clemson mistakes

Honestly, been disappointed with Reese. Even against Colgate, he had little impact. In fact, looking at the game stats I don't show that he had any tackles. Was he even in the game?

Reese and Cook have both been disappointments. Cook has been basically nonexistent.

Cook caught a 24yd pass on drive one vs Colgate and played very little in the scheme that had 12 guys make a catch.

Hope he is getting better every week.

This game is so confusing to me mentally. My gut just says this game reminds me of Dino years. I have a feeling we fight tooth and nail through 3 quarters and the size of Clemson wears us down and they just pound the rock with the small lead they have in the fourth. They eventually score after an 8 minute drive and it’s too little too late. Cuse loses 34 -24.

I've never been high on their QB Kubrick, and I think if Fran can get the team motivated on what Debo said about dumping the Cuse from the ACC, and we make something happen early in the game we have a fighting chance. My biggest concern is the O and D lines, but we hung in against TN. If we can score 30 I think we win this game. Boy would that be nice to rub it into Debo's face. We have nothing to lose so go for it! We are supposed to lose this game anyway. Maybe their QB struggles out the gate and gets pulled...a lot of pressure with a very disappointed fans base.

Would Dabo come into our locker room again if we win?

He also is being used in the Pena role, so not as many deep routes.

Like last year, a lot of mouths to feed too. We will have 4 500+ yard receivers again this year.

I think he probably has 60% of Peña’s 3 game snaps YTD also.
