Our big worry is the occasional big play we always seem to give up. We play a great game sans the 2 or 3 plays where we get gouged for massive gains or TD’s. Fix that and we can hang/beat anyone.

In your extended time here, have you not read all the other threads and realized more than half this board is bat sh crazy, and 75% of them can't read? I won't say if I included myself in the stats.

A lot of the yardage and points came when we had already shut it down in the second half but I agree with you otherwise.

If our offense scored 3 TDs against this D, outside of any garbage time, we’d have to be pretty happy.

I think it all comes down to the start. If we hang around in the first quarter, we cover. If we give up a big play early on either side of the ball (or both), all bets are off.

“He came in today and was a little sore but moving around pretty good,” Swinney said. “He’ll be day to day, and we’ll see how he progresses through the week.”

Swinney would not reveal what his plan would be should Kelly not be able to play when the unbeaten and No. 2-ranked Tigers (6-0, 4-0 in ACC) visit Syracuse.

“We’ll have a plan, but I’m not going to lay it out for Syracuse,” Swinney said
