In the NFL, the home team gets to pick which uniform it wears. Hence, the Cowboys never wear their blue uniforms at home. I wonder whether the NCAA lets the home team pick its uniform. If it does, we should pick orange when Clemson comes to town

It's the same rule in the NCAA. LSU and GTech always wear white jerseys at home in football. You could wear orange and force them to wear purple or white; there just has to be a noticeable difference in colors.

Interesting concept. I think some schools already wear their "away" uniforms at home. I would think for the Duke game that it is going to be an "Orange-out" where they are encouraging 35,000+ fans to wear orange. Have the players do it also so everyone is in orange. Put the coaches in orange suits as well. Can't you see JAB wearing one of these.

I'm going to be chastised for this, but I don't think the platinum jerseys were that bad. And I wouldn't be upset if SU wore them once per season. If they players/recruits like them, why not? Though, I wish SU could pull a ( the) Cowboys and wear their "road" jerseys at home.

The Cowboys almost always wear white at home -- the only exception has been when they choose to wear their throwback jerseys, which are primarily Blue.
