Coach MaDonald Tweet

In retrospect, I used to think the way he handled the McDonald situation was the beginning of the end for Shafer. In further retrospect, it now appears as though the beginning of the end was when he hired McDonald to be OC in the first place. It just took awhile to understand that the whole thing was a cluster from the very beginning.

I'll admit it - I had to look it up.

About
“Bye Felicia” is a memorable quote from the 1995 comedy film Friday which is often used online as a dismissive farewell.

Origin
On April 26th, 1995, the comedy film Friday was released, starring the characters Craig Jones (played by Ice Cube) and Smokey (played by Chris Tucker) as a pair of unemployed stoners who must find a way to pay a drug dealer $200 within 24 hours. In the film, a character named Felicia attempts to borrow a car and a marijuana cigarette from Smokey and Jones, causing Jones to say “Bye Felicia.” On March 11th, 2007, YouTuber HyFlyer988 uploaded a clip of the scene, gathering over 870,000 views and 290 comments in the first eight years.

I may be in the minority here but I have never been a fan of kicking someone when they are down. Also the guy is suppose to be a roll model for his players.
McDonald got kicked plenty when he was down here.

I want to be clear here - I'm not defending McDonald. He was a bad coach and handled a lot of personal things poorly. But people wanted to see McDonald react so that they could talk about how terrible he is. This was all really predictable.

Come on, like you wouldn't take some satisfaction out of getting the best of someone that fired you.

Sure, but I wouldn't show my satisfaction publicly, especially if I desired to be anything more than a WR coach in the future. But maybe he's at peace now with his niche in the world.

No class at all on his part. The coaching profession is a fraternity and what goes around...
This is internet tough guy talk.

Who cares. We'll be past all that drama soon enough and the guy will never climb above a WR coach.

Low class. If it was no big deal you'd see many more coaches who were fired do it. He's acting like a child.

Par for the course for him. He's an adult child.
