It's still a Dead period. No coaches out on the road. Everything is virtual recruiting.

If you look at the roster for SDSU it's mostly California kids. Coaches usually recruit where they have contacts established with HS coaches, My guess is California, Hawaii, New Mexico, Texas.

He's probably been brought in more for his coaching capabilities than for recruiting.

I will take a really good Oline coach over recruiter at this time. Without a functioning Oline the team is not going anywhere.

Makes sense. Every coach gets an area I figured, so was just curious. Figured it could be out west.

He starts getting a couple of our players in the NFL and he will become a great recruiter

I would love to see him focus on western Penn and the Midwest. It amazes how many lineman get drafted from nonP5 schools who are form those areas.
It might take time but we need to establish relationships with coaches from there. Take a few kids, do right by them and watch things grow.
