At the dome have a round up on orders and the change they give goes to NIL. So if the order is 15.25 ask to round up to donate to NIL. Most people will probably do it. The change like that on every transaction will add up.

Now that is a possibility. It depends if guest services is run separately from SU like Sodexo or another food management company. The contracts for that would have to be done by a collective, and not SU. Would take some figuring out. But again, I think it is run by SU food services. But getting closer.

Yeah, and that's why if it ends up being Gerry, while I'm VERY opposed to it now, I do think there is a chance it could work. You listen when the guy speaks. Former coach just seemed to talk because air needed to be filled at times. Gerry has moxy. If it were ignited, I could see it. That all said, please no - too much of a risk at this time.

I remember getting grief for saying attendance issues were a much bigger deal than one would think. "Attendance is not going to affect revenue enough to make a difference". Well, well well. Here we are with the administration being petrified of low attendance affecting the bottom line.

There is but it's essentially the coaches fund and is not well publicized. Its something that should be changing in the near future and something that will be noted to Syracuse because your not the first person to mention this exact problem.

SU basketball is perfect for a private equity turnaround. The legal mechanics of private equity investment in college sports are evolving but this might be a good test case for a carefully-tailored deal. Great brand, underperforming asset, management kinda tapped out, durable fan loyalty - it's all there.

So, sell a piece of basketball revenue streams to a private equity firm. They commit $75m-$125m over 3-5 years for NIL, content production, player brand mgmt. In exchange, PE gets a piece of the profits and a chance to upgrade under-utlized revenue streams (there are numerous examples in this thread).

It's way complex and I'm not even sure it's doable yet but someone is going to test the boundaries. Utah has done a lot of this already.

Given everything I’ve seen so far My opinion is neither BH or Gmac were ever going to get the job.

It would piss off one side or the other too much.

The right play is to go outside the family and bring in an unknown that checks as many of the boxes as we can get but at the same time is new and not tied to any one faction. It’s the only way to have a chance at saving ourselves from ourselves from all the NIL infighting. If no one gets their man then it’s a fresh start and build.

Guess we’ll see soon.

Why can’t it go into REV share portion?

I assume rev share is not our problem. There’s a cap on it, right? I’d think any serious programs are maxing out the rev share every year. It’s the outside NIL money we need.
