I don't disagree with most of this but I will say:

ORtg: 224th last year to 184th this year
DRtg: 186th last year to 63rd this year

Got significantly better on both sides of the floor. They just scored slightly less because their defense was good enough to slow the other team down.

and this was losing 2 starters and their 3 point shooting sixth man.
Only 7 scholarship players.
Not the fastest offense but he had to adapt to what he was left with.
That, my friends, is good coaching.
Dont try to fit the players into the system you want to run, adapt your system to the players that you have and what you can do.

Personal preference I guess. Defense travels, offense is streaky, especially the Nate Oats style. Both styles can win a bunch of games.

We've tried full on defense long enough...Get away from ISO Ball and mid range 2's...Dan Hurley had Uconn playing elite D and didn't win crap until Murray came aboard.
