Do we know that they requested that as a condition of their donation? Or did someone on signage duty put their name there because they gave the naming donation for the entire complex?

Yea. We aren’t talking about it much really cuz it’s all doom and gloom here but there is something to be said that we are really not competing for coaching talent with any other legit big name programs either right now.

People can pretend that Providence somehow punked us on BH but that’s garbage or that Schertz was ever going to jump a comfy easy gig at STL.

BC, GT, Cincy, kstate is filled that’s like it.

There’s going to be one of these midmajor coaches or a Luke Murray that is ready for the big leagues in the ACC. Obvi we need the NIL and resources but we’re not competing with a single SEC or BIG program that will scoop us last min. Last year or next year I would be a lot more worried.

Just an observation. Not a shot at Siena or any other team. But it seems like every game an announcer talks about how a coach has his team playing hard. Dude, it’s the NC freakin’ AA tournament. It’s what you play for all season long. If the coach has to get you to play hard now, you’re in the wrong business.

Yes those things are all negotiated and ironed out. I heard the Lally’s wanted their name on every part of the complex. That would have been done at the beginning and probably just took time for them to do all the signage.

Again, if Duke had played defense like they did for the last 10 minutes all game, Siena might not have scored 40. He had an average game and it helped that Duke didn't take them seriously for a half.

Why are you playing the "if" game? That could easily be done for Doty and GMac. Siena, GMac and team outcoached and outplayed Duke for 75% of the game. Hard stop. The difference was Siena had to play ironman and literally physically ran out stamina.
