With so many moving parts it's easy to think you know and it could be someone else completely or end up with G-Mac getting the job. Much like with recruiting this stuff changes from minute to minute.

The thing that gives me hope that it has a high possibility to work is that there is nothing about it being leaked. Which means there is real interest from the person, and so far not used us for a better position with their current program

Agree. Ridiculous take. A lot of fans are tired of legacy hires. GMac may be a good coach but being a legacy hire he will not have a grace period from the fans. A majority of the fans advocating for him now will turn on him as soon as he has a losing season.

But he won’t is the whole point. We would turn on anyone with losing season

Most realistic out of these options is TJ. We’re not paying a $10M buyout for Oats (plus a ton of people still don’t like him from his Buffalo days), and Few is probably gonna retire sooner rather than later.
