What’s gotta happen for Thamel to get more specific there?Great interview with Pete Thamel just now on WAER. Says finances will not be an "inhibitor" for Syracuse job. Described NIL situation as "upper middle class" in ACC but that could change quickly and go higher. Said sitting Power 5 coaches have expressed interest.
The problem is, would you rather these people not share any information? Because that's what now happens for some people. They don't share because it's not worth the hassle of the shaming. This is getting to "you must never question your government" levels of policing. Wrong info has a chain effect that spills into social media and then overall media narratives resulting in a constant negative feedback loop. As long as that continues I will comment publicly on it.
he didn't say when, but he did say in one of his interviews that he's headed back to toledo to wrap things up. im sure he'll be multitasking.ADBB is still technically the AD at Toledo right? This is probably nothing
Start with our former Head coach
The thing about NIL is that people are willing to give if they believe the money will be well used and worth it. If I had a spare $10 million laying around, I wouldn't have given it to Autry this past season because I knew he wasn't the guy, and it would be a waste. Now we are talking Thamel says it, then it is real about our NIL. Hopefully other people in the media shut up about us being way behind.
Is there any rev share payout dependent on tourney results?I can honestly say I couldn't care less how the ACC does in the tournament. Nothing sad about it for me. In the old Big East days, it meant more because we were fighting for recognition.
I have no ideaIs there any rev share payout dependent on tourney results?

I bet he gets the super scoop from the school at the appropriate time to jam it up Jeff goodman’sAs suggested.
correctDidnt they say he had to give 30 day notice or something to Toledo as well? I am sure he can fly to meet anyone for an interview from Toledo, the same as Syracuse.
And then I’ll donate of few more of your paychecksIf we get TJ O I’ll donate several paychecks to NIL

So do the three idiots that liked your post. Mute me. I’m a Syracuse lifer. Born and raised to be. My family goes back 4 generations now of Cuse fans.![]()

Nate Oats said:Ironically enough I grew up a Syracuse fan. Wisconsin wasn’t very good when I was younger,” Oats said in a telephone conversation Monday afternoon. “I graduated from eighth grade in ‘89, so go back to late 80’s when they had Derrick Coleman, Sherman Douglas throwing lobs to Stevie Thompson, Ronnie Seikaly, Billy Owens came in. I was a huge Syracuse fan. I had the Syracuse Starter jacket, the whole deal. I remember when Matt Roe transferred to Maryland I was all upset because all we needed was a shooter to win the National Championship.
Some? Some of y’all have lost your efffffing minds.
What made you a Syracuse fan? Not trying to be rude just curiousBoth born and brought up in western mass. His father was in the same business I was. Coincidence...I think so

I graduated from Newhouse a long time ago. I don't mind the question at all. I have said this a number of times but I never set out to get information. Somewhere along the line, people from all quarters began telling me things. From all over. The athletic dept. the media. Nothing I ever set out for. Being retired now, I am finally going to use my Newhouse degree to do a baseball podcast. In a million years I wish the same thing would happen with that. What made you a Syracuse fan? Not trying to be rude just curious
I had this same thought. However, I think you are greatly underestimating the incompetence of Dr Gross.Blair doesn’t really know about our culture yet to understand who we need that’s my concern…gross made the same mistake with Greg Robinson and look how that turned out…
I think it moved….Great interview with Pete Thamel just now on WAER. Says finances will not be an "inhibitor" for Syracuse job. Described NIL situation as "upper middle class" in ACC but that could change quickly and go higher. Said sitting Power 5 coaches have expressed interest.
