IMO once JAB got involved (because that pushed BH out with NIL concerns), it was always going to be GMac. I think the rest is a show like interviewing Hurley and Skinn? So they can say we did a "national search," and GMac was the best candidate. I am also sure ADBB wanted to talk to a few people as well, but I feel (and I am sure people will call me dumb and say others were real, it just didn't work out) it was always GMac once he won his conference tournament.

You’re simplifying but the reality is that money talks. BB has said this over and over. It’s the most important thing.

If the money is talking for gmac well we gotta let it talk. If it is for Schertz but a little less then it’s prob a horse race.

Pretty obvious he is. Blair is kicking the tires on guys he may want more but he has to sell the donors on them, and if he can’t Gmac is the fall back which is why nothing has leaked that he’s the guy yet.
