He’s the only report I’ve see saying Gerry so far. I’ve heard / seen numbers being thrown around though. That might be some sort of confirmation.

And we would love for it to go the other way and for GMac to remain a hero. That's what people who love this hire should understand. People like me will be absolutely THRILLED if GMac kills it here. I suspect the portal acquisitions will show us what he is made of (if he is indeed the coach.) If it looks like he is building a team around Doty, we're in trouble.

Resources are perfectly fine. Were a top half ACC school in NIL in years with the least enthusiasm possible. The only info we got was Goodman pushing info out on Hodgson. Don’t need to be most plush to convince more mid major coaches who have been successful to at least garner interest in the job.

No they are not. GMac is a young coach and he should take a lower salary, but his rumored salary at Syracuse is near the bottom of the ACC. I fear that NIL may be middle of the pack at best.

That isn't what Thamel reported. He said the NiL with Gerry would be upper ACC and maybe more. Now, he may be wrong about that, But I choose to believe him.

That one weekend of games is included in the entire body of work, and makes it better overall to have the NCAA appearance. They weren't a 9th seed fluke conference tournament winner with a sub 500 record. They were a threat all season.

"Probably" Just like will the March Madness consider that we missed JJ and Freeman games this year? Everyone has injuries.

Come on. Starling and Freeman missed those games early and were essentially together for the entire ACC schedule, and the team got worse over time.
