Let's say NIL and compensation are similar, which they likely will be. At the end of the day, it's Providence and Syracuse. This is kind of silly to reference, but do you want to know what Syracuse's record is against Providence all-time? It's 48-10. Syracuse has won 83% of their games against Providence. There's still a difference.IMO, going to PU instead of SU shows lack of seriousness as a HC in wanting to win on a national level.
If they could all just focus on what's best for Syracuse athletics and not their egos, then we would have a really good chance to compete at the highest level.I can understand why he wouldnt want to, given that other large donors are permitted to turn the program into their play thing.
All contributions are welcome. Some folks jump on anyone who brings information that doesn’t align with their hopes or expectations. No doubt that was the information received. Thanks for sharing. Also, if it doesn’t pan out that way in the long run, it doesn’t mean the information you were given wasn’t true, at the time.Could very well be, I am not some insider, I DO NOT have strong ties to people in the know attached to the University. I am just a season ticket holder who cares a lot... but I do know this coach fairly well, and as a D3 coach who has been around forever, he has lots of ties, he knows the assistant well enough to be on text chain, again I want Hodgson, so I hope he is wrong, it could be any number of reasons why that assistant coach said this, i wasn't digging too deep, he just said Providence is NIL committed for next season for whoever their coach is, they love Hodgson, but they are looking at several coaches, and he heard 20 percent chance Hodgson comes to Syracuse.
He was black listed early in NIL era. But i agree the others donated way more for a long time. SU should make the donors kiss and make up then tell AW he can have his seats, social media posts, whatever it is he wanted within reason, but he has to contribute $1m per year to NIL. A put up or shut up situation. Those other large donors actually made large donations.
The proof is in the buildings.
AW talked a big game.
And that was mostly it.
USF can win that game.11 seed, playing Louisville in 1st round?
Adam is not an alumnus of Syracuse University. He has no interest in having buildings named for him. He is a fan and he has a social media presence. We've gone over this whole thing over and over and over, and it's fine. Haters are going to hate. But, he was pushed out before being able to do much with NIL. It would be fun if somehow they could all come to an agreement and he could come back and prove what he is willing to do to help. Those other large donors actually made large donations.

Think Kingz would thrive in basically any system tbh. White definitely could. Needs some development but he's a good talent for sure.I think White and Kingz would thrive in BH’s system.
Let’s see how Doty does against the Dukies.Siena vs Duke
USF vs Louisville
Let’s see how Doty does against the Dukies.
I posted elsewhere that I’m interested in seeing how Enis does against ACC guards.More interested to see some of the USF play against the ACC
The thing that makes me super-skeptical of the information is the fact that he says that there is a strong chance of staying at USF. I mean, maybe he loves it there...Tampa is a great place to live. But you know what ultra-competitive people also like? More than doubling their salary, attracting the best talent and proving themselves against the best. USF doesn't give the opportunity to do any of the 3.Could very well be, I am not some insider, I DO NOT have strong ties to people in the know attached to the University. He's not staying at USF. I know that for a fact. The thing that makes me super-skeptical of the information is the fact that he says that there is a strong chance of staying at USF. Agree. And then we can send a private jet for the very quick flight to Syracuse. Or a stretch limo if BH would rather clear his head and relax a bit11 seed, playing Louisville in 1st round.
Thursday game.
As much as I'd like to see Louisville get knocked off, it would be good to have USF have their season end quickly.
From the other day, not sure if anyone saw this already...
