Hodgson coming or not has zero to do with Melo.

It really does if one of the reasons Hodgson isn't coming is because NIL and Melo is deciding to give his NIL money to someone else, instead of getting the best coach possible, then yes, part of the reason Hodgson isn't coming is because of Melo and his NIL team.

We are thinking too short term. It’s a long term fix. We have to invest from the ground level to build up. They are going to get no fans next year if Hopkins is the coach. The only way this works is if he wins 25 games and it’s not happening. We go to Vegas again next year. The season will be over by Thanksgiving again if he’s coach. It sounds like there’s no strategic or innovative thinking on the hill if this is the hire.

NBA experience? Hop did 1 year in a dysfunctional Suns franchise and now does player development for one of the worst run clubs in the NBA. He hasn’t been working with Steve Kerr or Brad Stephens.
