the 6th man demands ~$1-1.5mil…that’s a lot of $44 donations

To get there, we need 2 to 3 major donors, 2 to 3 significant donors then the rest will be made up of $44 donations from alumni, and NIL collectives.

Jim Boeheim. I’ve only ever known this guy as a detriment to the program. Such a stark contrast to the way most people see him, but he’s only ever been a villain to me.

Boeheim better be going to all the games if it’s GMAC. I’m pissed the way he went about the Autry tenure. Dude still has influence and it matters so much to him, but shows up to games 1 time a year for honoring someone day and that’s it. He should either be in or out. You see Coach K and Roy being much more in a supportive role.

If it's GMAC I just can't get excited. Sure I hope he wins just like any other candidate. It just stinks and it just seems like an of course they hired another Cuse lifer. It just screams cheap, desperate and lazy on the surface. Would be sad if we really have fallen this far and these are the only kind of hires we can get.

It's easy to square if candidate isn't limited to Xs and Os and coaching ability. Gerry brings intangibles ... like ironclad support from JAB and a weak fractured AD.

GMac isn't a real candidate at BC. He would never be their hire. That interview will be used that other P4 programs wanted him which is false

The Hodgson news was deppressing. NIL situation seems difficult to overcome with college sports in their current state. GMAC will be limited by NIL so our ceiling will be low.
We need big dogs to compete with the big dogs.

Hopefully GMAC is a miracle worker. Although he knows he wasnt the schools first choice now.

My two cents…if it’s about funding and lack of NIL, I would 1000% rather have Autry another year with Blair in charge to fundraise for next year and build up the streams to fund a new coaches NIL budget.

Blair said he was given a list of candidates from JW… I wonder what leeway he has with hiring his guy v what JW believed to be worthy. If I’m Blair, I take that sheet of paper, stand by the fireplace, drop it in and take out my paper and say here’s the list!

Also, let’s get JW out of office starting now. We’ve found the right person to lead us forward, he can’t lead with JW weighing him down. JW did a lot of good things but not a ton of them!
