Blakeney has done a real nice job here tbh. Think they've gone to the tournament 3 times in 4 years now and they hadn't made it in like 20-30 years before him.

If Gerry is the next coach I am interested to see if he can get that same effort out of Kiyan and Donnie if they are both still here. The two of those guys didn’t play half as hard as anyone on Siena did today all year.

Donnie I’m ok without. Gave up against boozer. Don’t get it either as I said in year that team sucked but if anyone wanted to improve their money next year play hard and Donnie shot the bed in my opinion. He could be making a fortune with effort.

So I know I’m butting in here but it was some time ago - I actually had an unexpected run in with John. It was not a pleasant experience and was extremely turned off by the arrogance. It was at a pro sporting event where my wife got me tickets as a gift and we just so happened to be sitting next to him. This was quite a long time ago but it’s always sort of been interesting seeing all the donations and incredible gratitude offered - never said a thing all these years but it was hard to forget.

They have done a lot ego or not and I agree, despite all the crap and infighting going after them or others isn’t good business or helpful. I can however see with what I experienced where what has occurred to date makes sense if that is just who he is. All that said thanks to what they have given and will continue to give and hopefully they work out things with BB and collaborating with more large donors.

Obviously wouldn't make sense for SU to leak it and make themselves look terrible.

So that leaves his agent or a 3rd party. Why would the agent do it now and create that distraction for his current team? I assume BH still wants to make a run in this tourney, then choose from his options. How much extra leverage do you get from announcing that on Tuesday?

3rd party leak? Perhaps from a disgruntled donor?

What it tells me is that SU is not at all serious with whatever package they are trying to put together, for him or his agent to just come out and say it.

Assuming GMac is the choice after the way Siena acquitted themselves today, will he be able to unify the donors and start to clean up the gigantic mess that has spawned this thread?

Finally. Someone with some logic. If anybody in the athletic department lets 30 minutes of a game in a tournament that is notorious for tight games, upsets, and everyone playing with “heart” sway their opinion that heavily, then take all the rumblings of dysfunction we’ve heard going on behind the scenes and double it because clearly nobody knows what is going on.
