I really like Nyk Lewis as well. He is only a Freshman...
Also their center Djokovic is a Junior.

I feel all three of those guys can play at a p4 level. That would be a massive jump start to getting his program installed

Teams wouldn't be playing soft defense in the first half of an ACC game. He'd get pressure and beat up like he did once Duke actually started to try.

If you are presuming he is the primary option here that’s fair but I’m not sure that would be the case. He attacked close outs well and was more bothered by the injury than anything. He showed far less flaws vs a P4 opponent that Enis did for USF.

Got the brothers coaching tomorrow as well. I still see no way with the public and internal pressure they don't hire GMac. If they don't I would actually be impressed.

Yes it does. However, it could also mean that Gerry is still possible, but they are still looking at their options. I haven't seen a lot of Martelli, but I hope he coaches his team to get after it. People on here want a better offense and of course we all do. But I really want a defense that people are afraid to play against.

Sell me on Martelli. I see 3 successful years as HC, getting promoted on a team in ok/good shape and getting hired to a team in great shape.

Schertz is probably kicking himself for signing that extension now if Davis gets canned. He may have left an out in the contract but I dont think a buyout would be a problem for UNC regardless.

He agreed but hasn’t signed the extension yet.
