Bring him or Matt Langel on staff. If Langel wants to be a lifer at Colgate so be it, but Langel is the kind of guy that if he were to come to Syracuse to implement an offense and it works in a very successful way that might be his unconventional path to the big job.

Yeah. Have to think it's been made pretty clear (esp in the last 12 hours or so) to BB, BoT, etc that the only way to get that coveted influx of $$ is with GM - and that might be the key aspect in all of this

I was all in on Hodgson. But it’s not just one game it’s THE game. A major statement was made.

I've been thinking about this last paragraph ever since I sobered up. If wasn't a part of this board, I would have been on team Gerry the last few weeks. Because that's what felt "right.. or that's what felt "the syracuse way". I've met some really amazing people through this board, and have been on some epic trips with some of you. But sometimes I think this board has made me a shitty fan.

I think you just hit it with Gerry's game yesterday making things a little more complicated for our decision makers. As I wrote privately, the thing that scares me with Gerry is Doty and Anthony playing together. You just have to have better 3 pt shooters than that. There probably isn't a pt guard we can get that would make up for their limitations. Now, they could improve but I wouldn't count on it.
