Lets say you have 8 million NIL with Shertz and 12 million NIL with GMAC.

Yeah, I don't know why people think this... at all. He's 3 years removed from being head coach. We haven't made the tournament in 5 years.

Will he give his opinion? Of course. Will people listen? Sure. Will he have sway in the final decision? Absolutely not.

new chancellor, new AD. neither beholden to JB. ive listened to 1/2 dozen Blair interviews. he seems like his own man. he said he's talked to jb a couple times. he has said he'll listen to everyone and take their input. but he seems the type that won't be run over. i firmly believe if we truly are back in with Schertz, Blair is a big reason. he said john gave him a list of candidates who had been vetted. i can see Blair circling back and reaching out to someone that had eliminated us if he thought he could be the man. that's my story and I'm sticking with it.

Schertz has turned around 2 programs in 2 years. That is fine. Gmac will have more pressure to win now because some will think he’s an extension of the former regime.
