Agree fully but one thing I’ve learned is that in America people spend money on vibes and hype. They don’t spend money on statistics and evaluative criteria.

I’m sick of the family hires for the record but I’m not going to pretend that people will use their brains over their emotions when giving money for NIL.

Just a personal preference. I get that alot of people would have him top 2 or 3. For me, it’s some mix of Melo, Hak, Flynn, Devo, Dion, Wes Johnson, MCW, Triche, AO, Gbinije, Lydon. Gmac is definitely in there. He is definitely top 1-3 of the most accomplished. He’s just not my most beloved. But it’s been great to see him get something cooking at Siena.

Schertz was always a longshot maybe lesser so recently but either way The ball was always in his court.

He can stay and get paid plenty to win lots of game but no matter what he’ll get blown out by michigans in the tourney cuz they are paying more NIL on Yaxel alone than his whole program spends.

Or Cuse can say we’re doubling his NIL overnight at and he starts playing with the big dogs.

Rick Barnes said in his presser leading up to Syracuse game that while watching film “one thing was clear, Syracuse has the right guy” obviously speaking about Red. If coaching candidates earned jobs by compliments, Red would still be the coach.

The mix of double teams and zone had Duke 11 points below their average. Especially in the first half Duke was repeatedly countered and at times even the Boozers looked lost.

I’m not saying that alone should get him the job—it shouldn’t—but it was a clever coaching job in a situation where most people expected Siena to get leveled.

Well who are the candidates? No one 'actually' knows who the short list is and who's really reached out with interest.

Gerry is low hanging fruit.

And he might be the next John Wooden. Idk but I'm ready for a clean break from the JB era, someone with outside views and ideas. Neither option is a guarantee. I can live it. Would also prefer an experienced head coach and proven winner. Not interested in assistants.

Not sure about your issue with my post about BH not staying at USF. Yes, that’s true. He's headed to Providence.

If you think we valued Gmac over Hodgson, you should rethink.

Like I said in my last post, Bryan Blair has made another attempt to get Schertz. It's very unlikely, thus why I said 98%.

1. BH isn’t at Providence yet. Still games being played with BH which we now know have been being played.

2. There is no way BH was above Schertz on “our board” that’s.

3. Insiders aren’t going to be told Schertz last night has potential if the odds are 2%.
