I am going on that they passed because the people controlling the NIL said they will only donate to one person. That is the right it is their money but that is why those people passed but the NIL isn't made available to them. If the same money was available to everyone, we wouldn't have to settle for GMac that is for sure. And JAB had something to do with Hodgson as well.

This is 100% win right away. And Gerry knows that. In the day and age of the portal and NIL, it can happen. And it needs to happen. But there are examples of it working elsewhere for a first-year head coach.

People are underrating how bad Autry was. We win at least five more games with Gerry as the coach this year in my opinion.

Thing is, GMac has no reason not to be confident in himself to win here. The best players and coaches have that confidence. Honestly, confidence is something Autry lacked as a coach. So unsure of himself.

Also I resent the implication that we can’t be competitive year 1 and make the NCAAs whether GMac or external.

Miami was 7-24 last year. They didn’t return 1 player. Jai Lucas was never a head coach and here they are 26-8 and a win from the S16. They had the money they needed to get Reneau, Donaldson, Udeh, etc. The NIL made all the difference

Plus they play like a bunch of ravenous dogs gone wild on the defensive end, go Miami
