I've always been more of a Moxie man, myself.
We want our SU teams to have "moxie" which means "guts" or "fearlessness." I first ran across Moxie in the Mad magazines around 1960 where the Moxie logo regularly appeared. I soon found our that it was a rare soda, which I finally tasted in Boston far from my home many years later. "Moxie" means "dark water" in a Native American language, the color of Moxie. It was a health medicine at one time, and advertised itself as good for paralysis, nervousness, insomnia, and softening of the brain - afflictions suffered by all of us SU fans. Bring back the medicine! Coke and Pepsi diminished Moxie's sales, but Moxie is still being made and can be found here and there. So what does it taste like? Remove everything that makes Coke and Pepsi taste good, and you are left with Moxie.

Yep... drink all the soda you want it's really beneficial. I'm trying to get my grandson off Coke but it is not easy. Sugar is the main deal here it's addictive like cocaine. God help him.
Sugary beverages like soda are linked to a long list of adverse health effects, starting with obesity, poor blood sugar control and diabetes. Recent studies have found an association with high blood pressure, high cholesterol and heart disease. Research shows that having as little as one soda per day measurably increases the risk of developing Type 2 diabetes. And diet sodas, which have been found to increase hunger and disrupt metabolism, are not any better.
Diet sodas are in fact better. Unless the laws of thermodynamics don’t apply to them

I try not to drink soda, but Coke is so much better. Pepsi just tastes like carbonated sugar water. Coke actually has some flavor and some bite.
If drank from a nice cold glass bottle. All other forms are an abomination

Coke drinkers have an advantage if only Pepsi is available. They can open the Pepsi and place it in the hot sun for an hour. It will then taste like Coke.
Bizarre take!
You should not drink from bottles when the seal has already been broken. Your Coke experience must have been tainted by someone nefarious. Get tested!

Pepsi is awful. About time they joined the rest of the universe

It always should have been
As I tell people on our board who complain, this is strictly an economic decision that disregards consumer preference. Coke's rebate to SU apparently is now at least as much as Pepsi's was, hence consumer preference can now be considered. IDK about SU's contract, but UVa's contract with Pepsi covers the entire University, not just the athletic department.
