Coleman’s Corner

I wonder if DC's game may have been more appreciated in the league in modern times than it was when he played? Mind you obviously given being a top pick he was valued highly then as well.. pointless what if question but still...

He was the best. So much fun to watch. Always used to try to emulate his post moves in HS, with 1,000% less talent.

He was the best player I ever saw in Syracuse history. His overall skills were the best. Smooth stroke, unbelievable rebounder and great passer with a handle. Barkley said and I agree for a two year period in the NBA he was the best player. Now, Pearl was the funnest most impactful player I ever saw. He was the coolest player ever. Ik Ik Carmelo was awesome, unbelievably just my opinion of watching cuse bball for 46 years. I did not see Bing play. First game is saw was in in 82 I was 12 years old and we played St. John’s with Mullin, Russell, Goodwin and Wennigton. Johnny’s won comfortably. Man I was hooked after that. 32g what a scene. Goodwin to Russell full court ally oop. Then came pearl next year. Unbelievable memories

Karl Malone and another power forward that I can’t remember said if he chose too which he didn’t, to be the best power forward he could have been. Malone himself said if he had his talent he woulda been better than he was.
