- ND can still get to playoff with one loss to a good team, Syracuse wouldnt be that team
- Hunt will have to rush for 100+ to win the game for SU
- Howard says it wont be close
- Herbie said it will be close
- All said ND wins

Pretty much spot on given our performance under Shafer. Mediocre team who hasn't shown it can hang with good teams and gives up a ton of big plays. It's time to change that narrative.

Like it or not - and all the hard nosed, shut the gate, mother's will fear for their sons nonsense aside - we have not earned anything more than that type of commentary.

The reason why the talking heads keep loading up on us is cause we've not delivered in the big games... which are the only ones they talk about on GameDay.

The free publicity for this game is incredible.

I've been feeling a bit under the weather the last couple days here in Virginia. Despite it being like 80+ outside I needed to run to rite aid for some sudafed, so I throw on my Cuse hoodie and hat, and head over. While I'm in line this dude taps me on the shoulder and goes "You guys are playing The golden domers tonight aren't ya?" And we get into this conversation about Syracuse football. The guy remembers when McNabb came to play VaTech a great many years ago and said he always respected the Orange since then. He said it was a shame to see us go through such a down turn, but he said if we would beat those god damn golden domers tonight we'd almost assuredly get back in the rankings this year.

I don't know what Notre Dame ever did to piss him off so much, but it was a nice convo to have. I always rock the Cuse hoodie as it gets colder and only the morning after Cuse vs. Duke round 1 last year did anybody down here care to notice.

The free publicity of a MetLife game against ND is incredible and I can only imagine the wondrous ness if we actually win a game.

Not true. Liam Neeson's new flick was good. The drop with Thomas Hardy and James Gandolfini was excellent. I suspect the equalizer with Denzil will be as well.
