Compromise solution for fans

This is my first post, but I am long time Syracuse fan. I have read many posts and I have great idea.

My suggestion for DA Coine. Many people on this board want to see Schaffer fired. But some want to give him one more year.

I am feeling like the best way to solve this disagreement is compromise and give OUR coach a half of a season contract.

We all need to come together as fans to support this team!! They need us and this is a solution that would bring everyone together!!

Frozen, in honor of the most hilarious response I may have ever read on this board, I crept out of my normal lurker status to thank you for the best teary eyed belly laugh, I have enjoyed since this I do not know when, these last several humorous posts help the pain of this football season melt away just a little bit.

Half year contract? Why go all in like that. At this point he should be happy with a 1 quarter contract. I don't mean a quarter of a season..I actually mean 1 quarter of football. Coyle should evaluate his performance every quarter, and decide to keep him or fire him. Imagine how many butts in seats, or eyes on sets we would have. Everyone just watching and waiting for an "" up. It would be like a public execution...or NASCAR!
