It looks like he has more arc on his makes. Observations?

He sucks. D 3 guard. If that is indeed true, let's go out and get a whole bunch of d-2 guards
NO! NO!yeah, i'm guessing we wont hear from those guys tonight.
anyway, surprisingly FSU played TC straight up tonight and he smoked them. this is why TC, for the last 2 years, has been the focus of most teams game plans.
Feet set, not fading away, jumping and landing in the same spot. Basic shooting.
I actually think it is more basic even than those things. Ever since the Louisiana Tech game, he's handled the ball a lot more. Which has in turn helped him get more in the game flow, and created easier scoring opportunities for him.
And since that line in the sand game--he's transformed.

What's funny is that before the VT or GT (can't remember which) one station had a pregame segment and they showed a clip of a VT/GT practice and the clip was of the coach talking to the team about defending Cooney.
Looks a lot better, just wish he wouldn't force shots so often.
I know Hamilton has a good rep, but man, he opted to play both TC and Rak straight up and, for the most part, did not play a lot of ball pressure. That's probably the complete opposite way to game plan for SU.
He got more open looks tonight than he's had in the last few games combined, and he made them. Not ticket science. But he is making more "challenged" 3s as of late. Two tonight were straight up ridiculous.
As far as forcing shots...given our options now, I say force away.
