Ernj's article, which was written on Tuesday and updated yesterday, says "...state law mandates the announcement must wait until Feb. 20." Today is the 20th.

This guy thinks the new UW RB coach will be Al Washington, current RB coach of BC. He is 30, which would seem to fit in better with the description of the pending hire. That would keep Smith here and simultaneously weaken BC. Washington is probably their best recruiter...

Wisconsin: Marshall running backs coach Thomas Brown will be the new running backs coach at Wisconsin, sources confirm to FootballScoop. Brown coached at Marshall for one season and served in the same capacity at Chattanooga prior to that. Brown worked for (strength staff) and played at Georgia (four year starter) previously.
