Cowheard and Klatt arguing over Syracuse and the rankings in general

Klatt has a point about the ACC but we aren't overrated. Cowheard thinks cuse beat clemson twice in the ACC...

I don't necessarily disagree with Klatt's overall point about the committee being overly generous with the ACC. but he falls flat with his defense of MSU and Wisc for being left out. He attributes it to Frank Beamer being on the committee.

But while Cowherd praised Syracuse's inclusion he needs to stop with the Southern Cal grabbing Babers at the end of this season.

Cheers,
Neil

When did we lose to Syracuse twice?

Colin actually watches all the leagues.
Klatt is sucking up to the B1G.
He only calls B1G, Big XII, P12 games.
He never does an ACC game so he isn’t going to protect that league.
Syracuse would beat Michigan State this year.

Clemson beat us fair and square. But boy, it was close for a long time. People on this board started talking Babers to USC. Hate that chatter.

3 things about this talk:
1) I believe Babers still has a large buyout on his contract at this point
2) As everyone keeps saying...a coach's seat gets very warm very quickly at places like USC
3) Colin talks big about a lot of things ...only a 1/4 of which actually lands somewhere in reality. But he is fun to listen to nonetheless

Klatt's whole argument is based on the computer models.

Sagarin has us at #44, six spots behind TCU who is at #38. TCU is 3-5, and just got beat by Kansas.

Sagarin has 8-0 North Dakota State at #22. I mean, they're an outstanding FCS team no doubt, and could probably compete with almost any FBS team for one game. But the 22nd best team in the country? Come on.

Sagarin also has ND State 7 spots ahead of #29 UCF. So are we to assume, based on that, that the Missouri Valley Conference is better than the AAC? And what does that say for UCF’s win over Pitt, when NDSU didn’t even play an FBS team this year?

Computer models have their place, but there's a reason the playoff isn't determined by computers.

This is great you have some bozo named Joe Klatt saying Cuse is over rated, but then at the other end of the media spectrum you have twitter tools like Feldman and Thamel pimping Babers to Maryland and whatever other P5 job opens in the forseeable future

We have beat Clemson back to back years...

oh wait, that is until the refs called the garbage "ineligible receiver downfield" flag in the 4th qtr.
This is not a good look for you. We also got called for that.

Dino would be stupid not to listen to USC. I am just Matt Campbell is younger more interesting candidate.
Iowa State is a tough spot to win at as well.
He won at Toledo and now at Iowa State and is young.
That is the guy these factories will look at first.
USC okay but that is only job right now I would worry about if I were SU.

USC doesn’t have a University President at this time, that may keep Helton employed for another year.

Fact.

That's a crazy number with the third down conversion percentage, the completion percentage and passing efficiency isn't that high, and the tailbacks aren't top end. I still think the offense is running at about 80 of what it could be.

Is it possible the football team could have a higher pts per game than hoops next year?
