Im not the smartest. I put quite a few bucks on the Falcons last week like the overwhelming public did.

I expect our defense to give their true Freshman qb all sorts of problems.

Ohio State will have a huge amount of fans this weekend @ Maryland this weekend at Byrd Stadium. Part of the reason UMD went to the B1G was to have Michigan/Ohio State/Penn State fans fillup their stadium.

Ohio State has a lot of talent on defense but its all young talent Fr/Sophomores. Joey Bosa needs help as Noah Spence has been suspended the entire year thus far.

Maryland isn't healthy on defense that is why Ohio State wins. Brown will score some points but the Terps will have a mistake or two and the Bucks will run away.

If I were old boy Randy I wouldn't play D , I would just try to outscore them. I think there will be a lot of Terp fans at this game , don't worry about that.

He was up-and-down during his first start, which was last week against Wake Forest. He went 16-for-32 with 206 yards and no touchdowns and ran for 46 yards.

LOL. I feel like Im in the twilight zone. My argument is dead on. If you really thought I meant that a college starting QB can never have 2 good throws in a game and that every throw has to be a wobbly duck, there is no reason to debate. that is just idiotic. no offense.

Fair enough. Back to your main point, I never bet on the teams I root for. I got burned too many times. It seemed like whichever way I bet (doubling down or hedging) I lost. But, if I were a betting man, I wouldn't touch this game with a ten foot pole. There are just too many unknowns. SU is a wild card and a rookie QB on the road on a Friday night is also a wild card. What might help Louisville will be a small, quiet crowd that shows up mid-1st quarter and leaves mid 3rd quarter.

I never bet on a Syracuse game because I hate losing twice on the same game. I said this earlier in the thread. I told people they may want to stay away from betting this game because Syracuse is 1-3 VS. spread and this line at +1.5 smells all kind of funky right now.

1. I bet Cuse my senior year... it started @wake. they didnt have a punter! So I bet cuse +14.5ish. and then i just kept taking them. i think we started 5-0 ats including a thrilling cover in OT against Wyoming for parent wknd. i was sweating it out for 2 reasons - but my dad did not allow gambling so I had to keep it to myself.

Walking out, I was talking to Bruce Levenson (wrongly disgraced owner of the Hawks) who is very good friends with David Falk. Falk caught up with us on the walk out and we had a discussion through the quad about how good Cuse has been ATS. Fond memory.

Anywho...
2. Reading around, most "experts" I've read are saying pick Lville in a variety of ways, but none are all that confident without the starting QB. But nearly everything I've read is to take the under.

I may bet the over tomorrow afternoon. We'll see how I feel. I've seen it anywhere from 46-49.

Laser was lost but not as lost as the Nova game. Who else can step up on the OL?

I didn't want to be right in any way shape or form. I didn't put a dollar on Ville even though it screamed at me. I was pissed off the entire game. I am nothing but a fan. I just call it as I see it.

in order of importance imo:

• Hunt can't pass the ball. Please don't argue this now. He is a very poor passing QB. They can sell out against HIM running because they know there is no chance he'll beat them throwing. Even when he throws a perfect pass it leads me to the next point:
• Our Wr's are glued to their defenders
• Our Oline is slightly below avg (not terrible, but not solid either)
• Defense missed tackles (this cost us 7 points)
• special teams suck
