We know Cuse lost by five in South Bend. We know JJ and Burton, both teams leading scorers, didn't play first time around. We know JJ is going to be highly motivated to play well and to win. We know Donnie Freeman had a big game last time but won't be suiting up. But, highly doubtful that Shrewsbury will score 25 again.

First time around ND was on a five game losing streak. This time, ND beat BC in their last game after losing four straight. Both teams say, thank God for BC.

One would have to think that the Dome won't be a deflated as Tuesday night because this game Cuse can win. The team just needs some guys to step up to help JJ. And, this is a great opportunity for Red to show his coaching acumen. What adjustments will he make facing a team for the 2nd time this season.

gotta tame him.

We’re playing a team that lost by 8 @ Duke & 11 vs. Houston. Both were with Burton. 3.5 sounds low.

ND has swept us in a season only once ever, in 1996-97.

In any normal SU basketball season for a mid January game against Notre Dame, the crowd would be anywhere from low 20s absolute minimum to over 30k. With the weather, NFL playoffs and lousy season, I fully expect it to be another game where it’s well under 10k physically in the building.

Eh a lot of notre dame fans in New York and it will be the warmest day of the week tomorrow. I’ll say 13k butts in seat. But I do agree really sad we used to get a great crowd for Notre Dame.

I would be surprised if there were more than 50 Notre Dame basketball fans in the building tomorrow.

I wouldn't.

Generic ND fans are everywhere in CNY.

Frustratingly.
Football fans definitely. I’ve personally never met a bandwagon ND basketball fan in Syracuse, especially when they’re below .500.

My guess is they’ll have their small contingent of fans that travel with the team in the few rows behind the ND bench and that’s basically it.

There's a huge Irish population in Syracuse, and many of them are favorably disposed towards Notre dame. It doesn't have anything with basketball specifically, or anything else. Nevertheless, they are in abundance.

Unless you're Joey Chestnut, 3.5 dome dogs is a surefire recipe for upchucking a bad shot.

Did you ever get a report of what attendance was Tuesday?
