Tonight is eye opening and exciting. Its not all about glitz and glamour. Teams are going after good, not great qbs( 4/10 top picks ) and just solid fb players of need. Would it surprise anyone if ED was taken in the first round as well as Slayton? Exciting!

Why not fellas if ED plays a full season? Slayton will be in the top 2 rounds.

As there will be two more pro football leagues drafting next year, I'll elevate the Dungey 1st round possibility as only crazy.

While I'll share the hope... ED's rating was 122.8(Culpepper 118.8). 7 better in the ACC. Improved line will help, but still looking for receivers.. Slayton may get his name called, but I'm guessing a little later, which he can change, this year.

I was serious about the crazy part though.

Eric Dungey is a competitive, feisty, leader. He's not a top 32 pick.

Right now, he's 7th in the ACC... Love em, but yeah that's crazy. A great year, less scrambles, more picking apart, maybe...And by maybe, I mean maybe he doesn't go undrafted.. If he leads the ACC, OK.

ED doesn’t have an NFL arm that I’ve seen. Lacks superior accuracy on almost all throws. Yes we remember the good ones.
I would be ecstatic if he was drafted but right now I don’t see him as a first two days pick... not even close.

ED’s not an NFL talent at this moment and Slayton could potentially be a 2nd-5th round pick imo if he progresses

I think it's been so long since we've had NFL talent we've forgotten what it looks like.

I thought last season that with a healthy year where he played lights out Dungey could ride some momentum into the NFL draft, but now I think his cieling is a later round developmental pick.

Surprise is certainly a word that I would use considering I've flown my son up for 3 games around Thanksgiving time in the last 3 years and he still has yet to be able to see his favorite player in person...

LOL...ok.
Care to provide your thoughts?

ED hasnt completed a college season and he has being a system QB working against him. At the moment he is not an NFL prospect imo.

Slayton has size, is a gym warrior, absolutely dominates the trenches when he’s not forced to play every snap due to lack of DL depth. I expect him to be a game changer with Williams and Robinson this year. Coleman looks good too.

Dungey would be lucky to even be drafted. Slayton i could see somewhere between 3rd-early 5th round.

i could also see teams want to try him out at receiver too

NFL scouts don't draft on production. They look for traits/abilities. That's why they find lower division guys to draft. I don't see Dungey playing qb in the NFL. There's nothing wrong with that. I will always be a huge Marvin Graves fan.
