Cuse/ND ESPN Gameday from the Bronx 11/17?

Just looking ahead to the college football schedule for November 17. There are some real stinker games involving teams in the top 25. Using current rankings the only other matchup between ranked teams besides SU/ND is #24 Iowa St. at #17 Texas. I know at least once a year Gameday will do some weird location. I'm hoping that doesn't happen this year. My conspiracy theory is that gameday will cover a game shown on another network only as a last resort. SU/ND is on NBC. Assuming SU and ND take care of business, gameday SHOULD be at Yankee Stadium on 11/17.

If things fall the right way, we could be sniffing a top 15, potentially top 10 battle in the Bronx. I don't see why College Gameday wouldn't do this.

And for those thinking NBC would hold us up, ND vs. Michigan this year hosted gameday, and two CBS games (UGA vs. UF, Bama vs. LSU) hosted game days. It makes perefect sense to head to the Big Apple.

Depending on how the 4 train would impact the audio, you could do it in front of the Hard Rock/NYY Steak.

In all reality it doesn’t matter. As long as we are one of the featured teams, I could care less if the naked cowboy was the only person there. We need our program to get as much positive exposure at this point as we can. It will catapult us in recruiting. With what we have coming back next year and our schedule, there’s no reason we can’t be a top 25 team next year also. Eventually the momentum will allow us to up our talent across the board.

Times Square was last year the week of our LSU game.

Assuming we beat Louisville we should be 12th or 13th. We’ll definitely be Gameday.

Given herbies dislike for the cuse, the fact ND was already featured on GD this year, and NYC isnt the most desirable place to hold GD vibe wise and logistically; it may be a long shot. Hope i am wrong but NYC doesn't scream CFB.

Only game I could possibly see is Cinci vs UCF which would be crazy if that beat the Shamrock Series game out.
