Cuse/ND ESPN Gameday from the Bronx 11/17?

They'll do a feature on the high level of metro new york football and how Army is the best program in the area and it's a four horse race between Rutty, Uconn, Wagner, and SUNY SB for 2nd.

I see a feature on the "decline" of Rutgirls football. Everyone in the clip is laughing even Lee Corso. Back to the Blight.

I agree. It's not that NYC doesn't care about college sports. It does. There's just a lot of pro sports interest on top of that.

True. NYC will always be a pro sports town which is why so many have laughed at the notion of both the ACC and the Big Ten attempting to "win over" NYC for their athletic conference. But to me the goal has always been to simply increase NYC interest in college athletics by 2%. A two percent increase in enthusiasm for college athletics there equates to at least a ten percent increase in enthusiasm in the 6-10 Top 10 markets.

Also, how much fun would it be for Game Day to be in Boston and NYC back-to-back featuring three ACC teams and a 5/8ths member (just ribbing you TerryD)? I can imagine Delany's head spinning around like on a swivel now.

:rolling:

Cheers,
Neil

Game day down to our game and Cincy at UCF

It's really the only other option, if they want to throw the G5 a bone (yeah, I said bone).

But either way, even if we don't get Gameday, we're getting ALL the press on that show and every other show.

* This post assumes the complete and utter annihilation of the Louisville and Florida State college football teams this weekend. Any attempt to deter from this opinion without the express written consent of a board administrator is strictly prohibited. So shut up about we need to beat Louisville first.

I said this in an earlier Gameday thread but my prediction for Gameday (on campus) is the Clemson game next year.
