'Cuse on the Quad Returns

The pregame event is located on Syracuse's quad located in front of Hendricks chapel and in close proximity to the JMA Wireless Dome. Returning to 'Cuse on the Quad from previous years will be: food tricks, a food/beverage garden with out of town games on television, live recording of the Orange Pregame Show presented by Learfield, lawn/tailgate games available for everyone to play and a band and drumline performance on the Hendricks Chapel Steps as well as other entertainment.

New to the event this season will be the incorporation of other 'Cuse teams. Student-athletes from other Orange programs will be on the quad to sign autographs and have youth clinics of their respective sport. There will also be the 'Cuse Uniform Showcase, which will be a fan photo station with football mannequin in that game's uniform combination for fans to take pictures with.

'Cuse on the Quad is free to attend for all fans and opens three hours prior to kickoff.

I'm really curious to see what kind of tricks they do with the food. I wonder if David Copperfield or Chris Angel will be there.

It would be nice if the could at some point give a timing of the events.. the wife wants to hear the band but knowing when they march to the quad and when they play in the quad I would think be pretty standard timing for every game.

Really really need the University to try and integrate some of the local restaurants. If I can Tully's on the quad I'm in.

PeteCalvin will make foot long sausages disappear without taking a bite. There will also be meat helmet making stations, pineapple juggling, and Baby Ruths will be placed in various local swimming pools.

it pretty much is. The weekly email that comes out if I remember correctly gives a timeline. I typically arrive like 1 1/2 hrs before kickoff. The drum line warms up before the rest of band joins them. When they are done, that’s a good cue to get your butt movin.

I think it’s great to highlight other student athletes there. Makes up for some of the fanfest loss, being able to rub elbows and get introduced to some other programs.

My dad and I go see the band every year and i believe the band starts playing an 1 hour and 35 minutes before kickoff with the drum line starting a little before this. The band plays for roughly 25 to 30 minutes.
