Cuse @ UNLV Tix and Tailgate, Oct 5th

Room booked at the Luxor. Not my favorite as I usually stay a bit further north on the strip, but they comped me 5 nights and the proximity is nice and I know there will be a bunch of you idiots there.
I resembled that.

Are you planning the tailgate for Fran's 2027 National Championship appearance yet?

Just got 4 free nights at MGM grand through my BetMGM host, that week guess makes my choice easier to go to the game! Cant wait! Wish he would have got to me sooner so I could have signed up for the tailgate!!

Dang it... Where are my room Comps... I got a gambling brother and am going to be there a week!

I can't even smuggle any Treehouse Beer on the flight for the tailgate...

Anyone ever stay at The Linq? I'm deciding between there and Mandalay. I know Mandalay is solid and obviously close to the stadium. The Linq is more centrally located and easier to get to more spots. Price is comparable. Thoughts?

It’s central but unimpressive otherwise. Horseshoe, Paris or Planet Hollywood are preferable for me.
And further north a door I prefer Harrah’s even over the Linq.

Yeah the more I looked into it, I decided to just do Mandalay. I know it's at the far south end of the strip, but I stayed at the Delano before and didn't really have any issues getting around. I also like the pool there and it's super convenient for going to the game itself.

With the two free trams you'll be able to get to mid strip pretty easy. If you see a passed out cusetroop anywhere on your travels, just prop me up and hand me a drink

You got it!

I just booked my flights. NFL schedule comes out tomorrow, so wanted to get that done in case Vegas is at home and all things will go up in price. Especially if they play the Cards that weekend, lol. Hotel was done a long time ago. Friday to Monday.

Troop I can't remember, how's the parking at Mandalay. I'll have my car with tailgating equipment so parking's a factor for me.

It’ll be interesting to see what the NFL schedule that weekend will be.

Thanks for posting the ticket link!! Picked up two club seats in C133.

If anyone is looking for a hotel walking distance (9 minutes) to Allegiant Stadium the Fairfield Inn Las Vegas Stadium Area has a special rate of $193 a night.

Not that it helps with this. But the news of Roch adding direct flights to Las vegas in Oct is pretty nice.

I just checked and it's around $650 round trip for Thursday to Sunday for the cheapest option.

Southwest
Oh man, that could be a game changer for me. Breeze direct to Syracuse has been nice, but the departure times coming back to Vegas are a pain. Looking forward to checking this out!

they said it was the largest unserved market they had. And with Syracuse losing SW probably helps demand for a direct

I just flew Southwest into SYR on Tuesday. Jet wasn't full but it was pretty close. Tuesday is a low demand day.

I hope they'll come back in a year or two after they get their jets.
