To see the field there they expect u to know all plays at all times and maybe he isnt a pick things up really quick guy but i loved him here and was upset when he left us. Gave u some great games though.

Good interview. Definitely seems like a great guy. Glad to see he still seems to be fond of his time at SU. Obviously things worked out wonderfully without him in 2024 but I do wonder what the result of a 5th year at SU would have looked like.

Love this. He woulda been fantastic with McCord. Maybe wrong fit for new guy but I want him to kick ass.

Maybe he's matured and put in the work to do the every down mundane stuff while still having that ability make occasional spectacular plays. He has the physical tools.

At the time there was some chatter about him being asked to leave, can't recall exactly. But yeah, played in 4 games with Utah and had no statistics.

Didn't realize he was the first overall pick in the CFL draft.

Yes because Shrader got hammered on that play, but stood there long enough to get the pass off. The Virginia Tech guy came through almost untouched.

I believe the thought at the time was he wasn't interested in completely buying in to Fran's cultural changes. I wonder if his lack of play at Utah was a bit of a wake up call for him.

and effectively ruined a good shot at getting to a bowl that year, Shrader's shoulder got hurt on that play and he had a bum shoulder the rest of the year. Couldn't throw but he played through it, tough dude, loved the Shredder.
