Strengths: Good passing and running lefty QB. Strong arm, accurate, can really zip it and sling it all over field. Slippery, can escape pressure and make people miss on run-pass option or option plays.
Weaknesses: Thin, wiry build. Needs to bulk up to handle hits. Height is issue. Not tall.
Analysis: Strengths far outweigh weaknesses. Lots of leadership skills, played under demanding owner G. Steinbrenner. Good under pressure and in big games, see 10/2/78 in game 163 vs. BOS.
