Hopefully they do a better job than they did on the indoor track at Manley- 3 lanes for running, 2 sprint lanes of about 70 yards, and no area for jumps/throws of any kind. Fox should have been the one complaining about facilities in that DO article- it's amazing what the hurdlers have done with what they have available.

No action up there yet, and I haven't heard any word about it happening soon. I don't think this will happen until at least 2015, unfortunately.
That OK, though. Maybe our ACC program can sneak onto CBA's or Nottingham's track after the high school kids are finished with practice next spring.

Ran track for 'gate and we used to compete in Manley. It had a dirt floor and your lungs would be throbbing at the end of a race from inhaling the dust. BTW, SU's top runner was Bruce Fisher ('73) who was a terrific middle distance guy. We had an FM graduate John Jeffery who was no slouch either.
